My Approach to Education

"Wisdom Begins With Wonder" Socrates

The Wondering Bees Childcare Program focuses on building and sustaining long-term relationships with the children in a nurturing and loving environment. These long-term relationships give a child and their families a sense of belonging within a small community. This program will provide your child with a strong social foundation so that he/she will have a sense of empathy, self-worth, self-esteem, and will be a risk taker. This is a child-initiated, play-based program that encourages integrative learning. In this interactive learning environment the children will be guided and assisted so that they can utilize their full imaginations to succeed in all areas of learning.

Earlychild Educator

Hello, my name is Nancy Namuth and I  have provided childcare for families in Fort Collins, Colorado since 1994, where I have owned and operated Wondering Bees Childcare. I am licensed by the State of Colorado, Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care.  I have an Associates Degree of Science from Northwest College plus 18 credit hours in Early Childhood field from Front Range Community College. I also have over 350 hours of training certificates in the Early Childhood field, and I continue  my education every year with numerous workshops, in social-emotional, nutritional, developmental practices, and nature-based play opportunities. I am CPR, First Aid, Medical Administration, and Universal Precautions Certified through the State of Colorado.

In addition, I am very active in the Early Child Community by teaching seminars through several Family Childcare Associations in and around the Northern Colorado area.  I also participated in Mentoring programs, FDCRS rating program, Qualistar program, and CARES training program with the Early Childhood Council. I am also a member of a small group forum that meets monthly to discuss current Early Childhood issues that professionals are facing in today’s environment.

I have lived in Fort Collins, Colorado for over 20 years, but I am originally from Nebraska! Go Huskers! I have two children, a son and daughter, who are in their early twenties. I have a kitty cat named Casey, several fish, and occasionally I have a snake or a frog spend a couple weeks with me in the summer time.

Please check out my website and if you like to make a appointment please contact me.

Sincerely,
Nancy Namuth
