Daily Rhythm

At Wondering Bees Childcare this schedule is followed pretty closely; I will usually wait for a natural break in play or activity to transition to another activity.

 

• 8:00 am to 8:30 am - Arrival/play-based curriculum/infant play

 

• 8:30 am to 9:00 am - Breakfast

 

• 9 am to 11:00 am - Play based curriculum or teacher facilitated /child-directed curriculum /naptime for infants

 

• 11:00 am to 12:15 pm - Outdoor play;mini-field trip to the park everyday if weather permits

 

• 12:15 pm to 12:30 pm - Educational video

 

• 12:30 to 1:30 pm - Lunch

 

• 1:00 to 2:00 pm - Story time which includes finger plays, hand signing and singing

 

• 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Quiet time (varies with each child)

 

• 4:00 pm 4:30 pm - Wake up time

 

• 4:30 pm to 5pm - Pick-up time
